The Underwriting Services team provide outsourced support services to London Market insurers operating in the Lloyd's Insurance Market. Our roles involve data cleansing and data input into our client's underwriting systems for a variety of commercial insurance policies. If you are looking for a short-term opportunity or stop gap this is not the role for you - we are looking for candidates seeking an opportunity to progress within the Company and who are willing to study for professional insurance qualifications.

JOB ROLE

* Manipulate and cleanse data from a variety of sources into a standard format, which may require capturing missing data and identifying / correcting data errors.
* Interpret and capture data from a variety of insurance documents including, policies, endorsements and quotes.
* Analyze data and calculate transactions including currency conversions; calculating commissions and deductions including application of percentages.

THE CANDIDATE

* At least 5 GCSE's grade C or above, which must include Maths and English Language
* Working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel
* Ability to process and cleanse data with a high degree of accuracy
* Must be willing to study for the Certificate in Insurance awarded by the Chartered Insurance institute (minimum requirement) in order to move through the Company's progression scheme
