Cirencester College is expanding its Apprenticeship & Employer Engagement team and we’re looking for passionate, supportive professionals to join us as Apprentice Learning Coaches.

What you'll be doing

As an Apprentice Learning Coach, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 coaching to apprentices throughout their programme
  • Build strong, positive relationships with employers
  • Support learners to develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours they need to succeed
  • Guide apprentices in building their portfolio and tracking workplace progress
  • Deliver coaching sessions via workplace visits, online meetings (Teams), and occasional college workshops
  • Help apprentices prepare for their Apprenticeship Assessment
  • Keep accurate digital records using our e‑portfolio system (full training provided)
  • Manage a caseload based on your expertise and working hours
  • You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team and paired with a dedicated mentor to help you settle into the role.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in their industry area (we especially welcome applicants from Marketing, IT, Heritage Collections or Archaeology)
  • Passionate about helping people learn and grow
  • A confident communicator and natural relationship‑builder
  • Organised, supportive, and able to give clear feedback
  • Comfortable using digital tools and Microsoft Teams
  • Able to work independently but enjoys being part of a team
  • You don’t need teaching qualifications — just experience, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in supporting apprentices.
