Salary: First Year Apprentice Salary: £16,000 per annum (with progression in line with the College Apprenticeship Pay Scale and eligibility criteria)

Contract: Full Time, Fixed Term Apprenticeship (12-18 months)

Start Date: 19th October 2026

 Are you looking to start your career in business administration whilst making a real difference to people's lives?

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Adult Education team at Cirencester College, supporting learners, tutors and local communities whilst completing a nationally recognised Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.

Working alongside the Head of Adult Education and Deputy Head of Adult Education, you will gain experience across administration, customer service, marketing, data analysis, community engagement and project coordination. No two days are the same. You might be supporting learner enrolments, assisting with social media content, organising community learning activities, building relationships in the community, analysing course data or helping develop new learning opportunities.

This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, enthusiastic and keen to develop professional skills within a supportive and ambitious team.

 

The successful applicant will:

  • Provide professional administrative support to the Adult Education team.
  • Support learners, tutors and stakeholders with enquiries and communications.
  • Maintain accurate records and spreadsheets.
  • Assist with learner recruitment, enrolments and community engagement activities.
  • Support marketing activities including newsletters, social media and promotional materials.
  • Contribute to quality improvement and course development projects.

  • Good IT skills and attention to detail.
  • A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to providing excellent customer service.
