Apprentice Audit Administrator

The Vacancy
Pro Insurance currently has an exciting opportunity to become an Apprentice Audit Administrator and be part of our Audit & Advisory team. The job holder will demonstrate excellent organisational skills ensuring the efficient administration of a project.
Pro operates a hybrid working model, with time split working from home and our Gloucester office.
About the role/apprenticeship
You will work closely with our Audit Coordinator to support a wide variety of tasks and processes within our Audit function ranging from administration and diary management to supporting reporting and invoicing.
Alongside this you will study level 3 Business Admin Apprenticeship and apply your learning by assisting in a range of duties relevant to your studies. You will also be set aside dedicated time to complete your learning. This 15 month apprenticeship will help you to build your skills as a business professional, making you an adaptable and outstanding communicator, along with nourishing your positive mindset and encouraging your organised approach to managing priorities.
Skills and Responsibilities of the role
Audit specific work includes but not limited to:
- Maintaining audit planner / calendar s/s – tracking orders, scheduling, work allocation etc,
- Review scopes and prepare quotes
- Prepare monthly Lloyd’s and client reporting
- Supporting invoice process
- Approve / Issue Pre-Audit Questionnaire / Information Requests (‘PAQ’).
- Maintain diary to monitor responses; issues; reminders
- Input recommendations on market/client system; manage market/client system for scoping / quoting.
- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with both internal and external stakeholders and to successfully manage these relationships
- Strong computer skills – good working knowledge of MS Office, intermediate excel, word and powerpoint skills, knowledge of access advantageous
- The ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritise
- Team worker as well as able to work on own initiative
- Meticulous, precise, thorough, good at record keeping
- Supporting the pre-audit process. Preparing templates and summaries
Experience and Skills
- Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills
- Results orientated - focus on meeting goals and producing results.
- Good MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Have a minimum GCSE C grade or 4 and above in Maths and English
- Live in England
