Must have’s

• CeMAP 1 qualification as a minimum
• Strong interest in developing a career in mortgage and protection advice
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Customer-focused with a consultative approach
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage a busy workload and learn quickly
• Positive attitude with a willingness to develop new skills

Nice to have’s

• Experience within customer service, banking, financial services or estate agency
• Understanding of the home-buying process
• Sales or target-driven experience
• Knowledge of mortgage and protection products

So, what will you be doing?

• Supporting experienced Mortgage Advisors while developing your knowledge and skills
• Conducting client fact-finds and affordability assessments under guidance
• Assisting with mortgage and protection recommendations
• Managing mortgage applications from enquiry through to completion
• Building relationships with estate agency colleagues to maximise referral opportunities
• Liaising with lenders, solicitors, surveyors and other parties throughout the buying process
• Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
• Ensuring all work complies with FCA regulations and internal procedures
• Working towards individual sales, service and compliance targets
• Keeping up to date with mortgage products, lender criteria and industry developments
• Delivering outstanding customer service throughout the home-buying journey
