Trainee Fire Protection Systems Project Engineer/Design Engineer

Woodward & Co Fire Protection Ltd are looking to add an enthusiastic individual to our expanding team.
We are a fixed fire engineering company who specialise in all aspects of the design and installation of fixed fire protection nationwide within the retail, leisure and commercial sectors.
We pride ourselves in our ability to a deliver first class service to our clients in a proactive manner, regardless of the challenges presented.
The successful candidate will have a passion for engineering and problem solving and will be excited about the prospect of working in an office-based role that will also take them to sites around the country on a regular basis.
We have opportunities within our contracts departments for the right person, who will demonstrate their willingness to learn and grow into the role.
Full training will be offered in house with the future opportunity of gaining ABBE Fire Sprinkler Qualifications that are relevant to the industry following probationary period.
Requirements:
- Strong engineering or technical interest
- Proactive, enthusiastic personality
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- An excellent eye for detail, taking pride in your work
- Good GCSE or College/University Qualifications
- Conversant with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Full UK Driving Licence
- No previous engineering employment necessary
