Trainee Engineer & Yardsperson

QCR is the leading supplier of recycling equipment in the UK, selling nationally to a broad range of sectors. Our customers are some of the best know names in hospitality, retail, leisure, industry & logistics. We’ll be celebrating 25 years in business in 2024.

We are currently seeking a trainee engineer & yardsperson (possible apprenticeship) to join an extremely busy workshop team who refurbish our range of recycling equipment. You will help strip machines ready to be refurbished, plus general housekeeping duties around the workshop and yard.

Comprehensive training will be given from day 1 and there will be plenty of opportunity for the successful applicant to receive continued training to progress their skills and knowledge around our equipment and lots of opportunities for advancement.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically minded with a keen interest in how things work and an ability to fault find & problem solve along the way.

You must be flexible, display a positive attitude to meet demanding delivery targets, and work to a high standard.

Salary: c £20-23K+ Depending on experience.

Full driving licence is essential due to location in Toddington, GL54 5EB (not on bus route).
