Art Technician
Cheltenham
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Contract: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (which includes 1 week for INSET days)
Responsible to: Head of Art and Design
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Cheltenham Bournside School as a Art Technician.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Art Technician to join our busy Art
and Design department.
As a technician you will be supporting the smooth and safe operation of the department, and
the provision of a positive learning environment by maintaining a high standard of visual
display and presentation in collaboration with the Head of Art and Design.
Person Specification
Qualifications:
Essential
• Qualification related to the Art sector
Desirable
• Qualification related to 3D Art
Experience:
Essential
• Experience of working within a role in the Art sector
• Awareness of Health and Safety
• Experience of Using ICT
Desirable
• Experience of working within education
• Experience of working with clay and kilns
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
• Desire to participate in development and training opportunities
