The SGS Construction Faculty is offering an exciting opportunity for a Construction Life Skills Lecturer.

This role focuses on equipping learners aged 16 - 18 with the personal, social, and emotional tools needed to succeed in education, employment, and life. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering engaging, sensitive, and relevant tutorial content on topics such as health and wellbeing, drug and alcohol awareness, relationships, sexual health, and making safe and informed decisions.

This is a vital role that supports learners in becoming work-ready, resilient, and self-aware. You will help learners identify and overcome vulnerabilities, explore the impact of their actions, and develop practical coping strategies. Through boosting positivity and fostering reflective thinking, you will act as an influential role model, encouraging learners to take responsibility for their development, behaviour, and future success.

A background in working with vocational learners, especially in construction or related sectors, is beneficial. A teaching or coaching qualification is desirable.
