Job summary
This post will be based at CAMHS Intensive Outreach Team, focussing upon hospital discharge and follow-up. We are seeking a highly motivated, inspirational leader, Band 7 CAMHS Team Manager who is ready for a new challenge.
The right candidate will put young people at the heart of the service, will possess good problem solving skills and have the ability to achieve results through collaboration with staff and young people. If you are looking to join a progressive team with an open, compassionate management and leadership style we would like to hear from you.
This is an exciting opportunity to help develop the hospital assessment team. We have had investment to strengthen and develop the team to better meet the needs of young people presenting to our acute hospitals or in the community. We would want the manager to be a key role within this development.
The post is part of a comprehensive and specialist Child & Adolescent Mental Health service within AWP with close links to BNSSG CAMHS teams.

Main duties of the job
Working in partnership with the Clinical Service managers and Team Managers, the post holder will ensure excellent clinical standards are maintained within the team, and ensure the best use of available resources by delivering positive outcomes for individual service users and their families.
The post-holder will manage, direct and lead a recovery orientated, multi-disciplinary team in a community Child and Adolescent mental health setting.
