We are a dynamic and growing company specialising in quarrying, waste processing and merchanting aggregates. Our team takes pride in maintaining high standards of efficiency, safety, and customer service. We are now looking for a reliable and proactive team member to support our expanding operations at our quarry and restoration at Bromsberrow Heath.
Role Overview:
As Weighbridge Operative you will ensure that we record deliveries to and from the site accurately, that customers are loaded according to their requirements and that we only accept materials that are in line with our environmental permit. The role is mainly office based, but some driving of mobile plant may be required (training provided).
Key Responsibilities:
- Recording deliveries and sales accurately on our weighbridge system
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness across the site
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Communicate professionally with drivers, colleagues, and site staff
- Report any hazards, issues, or non-compliance to the management team
About You:
- Good with customers with experience providing a polite and efficient service
- Previous experience in construction materials industry preferable
- Willingness to learn and undertake training
- Good work ethic and a proactive, team-focused attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
