The Role

As the Building Fabric Engineer, you ll:

• Complete risk assessments for building fabric maintenance tasks and ensure safety at all times.
• Respond to emergency call outs and provide engineering expertise outside of normal hours.
• Manage a variety of reactive tasks and planned activities to meet service level agreement deadlines.
• Supervise specialist sub-contractors and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs within your technical capabilities.

You

To be successful in the role of Building Fabric Engineer, you ll bring:

• Relevant experience in building fabric maintenance or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Awareness of sustainability practices and their impact on maintenance activities.
• A proactive and organised approach to your work.
