What is a Cloud Perspective Inside Sales Specialist?

Working closely with our partner Informatica, our Inside Sales Specialists (ISS) will directly support and will be guided by, up to 3 field-based Informatica Account Executives (AEs).

Informatica is a vendor of the world’s most comprehensive, market leading data management software and Cloud Perspective is Informatica’s leading Platinum implementation partner.

Members of the Informatica team either operate in a specific vertical, such as automotive, or may work across three or four verticals. At Cloud Perspective, our role will be to find opportunity within these verticals, usually within a defined set of accounts and work with the appropriate Informatica AE to progress and close that opportunity.

The ISS will dedicate one day per week for each AE. The primary mode of contact will be the telephone with email, and social media follow up.

The typical sales cycle is 3-6 months, and the typical initial service sales will be in the region of £80,000 to £100,000 for implementation of Informatica data management Products.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

• Collaborate with Key Partners: Work closely with the Account Executives (AEs) of our partner, Informatica, in their vertical territories to enhance coverage, identify client requirements, and develop winning strategies.
• Customer Engagement: Communicate with customers to understand their needs, resolve their concerns, and generate new leads through outbound emails, calls, and follow-ups.
• Product and Service Expertise: Explain and demonstrate the features and benefits of Cloud Perspective’s products and services.
• Database Management: Maintain and improve our database of prospects and opportunities.
• Market Research: Research new leads and stay updated on product and service information, including competitor offers.
• Sales Development: Identify sales opportunities, upsell products and services, and support the executive team in winning new business.

Who Should Apply:

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in technical sales, may have software sales skills,and understands extended sales cycles solution sales. We believe that the time is right for individuals with telephone-based experience to utilise their phone-first sales skill set to rapidly discover new opportunities.

We’re looking for more experienced individuals who can hit the ground running, with some sales experience and an appetite for picking up the phone… this will be a solution sales role though and may involve some travel.

Informatica provide the most comprehensive data management toolset and are at the top of their industry according to Gartner and when understood by a serious data professionals such as CTO and CDOs.

This tool set includes, Integration and Migration tools, any Domain Master Data Management, Data as a Service products and advanced Data Governance solutions, such as data cataloguing.

The challenge then, is for a sales professional to gain a broad understanding of these technical products.  They should be able to discuss their capabilities with the C-suite data professional and identify key use cases.  These use cases might bechanges in customers sales methodology, materials cost saving and business consolidation following M&A activities.
