New Business Negotiator
Cheltenham
Based in Cheltenham town centre, M R Ratcliffe Consultants Limited is a specialist insurance broker focusing on the transport industry, advising and arranging many different types of insurance cover.
We require a New Business Sales Negotiator to work as part of our Agents team. The purpose of this role is to obtain new business from our sub-broker partners based on their customers’ requirements.
Key tasks:
- To calculate premiums using Insurer Portals
- To negotiate new business with insurers and other insurance brokers
Candidates should have the following skills:
- A level of understanding of commercial related insurance policies
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
- A confident telephone manner and the ability to be accurate and precise whilst working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- A friendly and approachable personality with the ability to adapt to customer requirements
Hours of Work: (Office Based) Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
(1 hour lunch break)
Holiday: 31 days per annum including Bank Holidays
Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience
Pension/Death in Service Benefit: After qualifying period
