Assistant Manager

Forest of Dean - Lybrook

Join BBcare10 as an Assistant Manager – Make a Difference in Lybrook!

BBcare10 is looking for a committed and experienced Assistant Manager to join our care team based in Lybrook. This is a salary-paid position offering a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 6 months’ experience in a similar role to grow within a supportive, person-centred care organisation.

We’re looking for someone reliable, proactive, and passionate—someone who’s happy to step in and help wherever needed, work flexibly, and be part of an on-call rota to support the wider team. If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Support the Registered Manager in day-to-day operations
✔ Supervise and guide care staff to maintain high-quality care standards
✔ Assist with rotas, training, and team support
✔ Step up and lead in the Manager’s absence or as needed
✔ Be part of the shared on-call rota (additional pay provided)
✔ Ensure compliance with care regulations and BBcare10 policies

Requirements:

✅ Minimum 6 months’ experience in a similar senior or supervisory care role
✅ NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
✅ Strong leadership and communication skills
✅ A flexible and hands-on approach
✅ Willingness to work from our Lybrook base
✅ Confident in managing situations and supporting staff out-of-hours when on-call
