Support Workers (Nights)

Redmarley

Based in Redmarley just outside of Gloucester, Stepping Stones RU aim to help people who come to live with us with mental health concerns to achieve a settled time in their lives and look forward to developing skills, interests and relationships.

Our ethos is to be family orientated, professional, hard working, client led and fun.

Due to rapid growth and expansion, we are seeking Waking Night Support Workers to join our warm
and friendly team.

No experience is required as comprehensive induction and training will equip you with the necessary
skills.

We currently have night have vacancies, the shift pattern one week on followed by one week off.

DBS check provided

Responsibilities

To carry out and undertake specific and general tasks which will provide a good quality of health, welfare and well being of our Service Users;
To contribute, develop and implement Service Users' individual care and person centred plans;
To work flexibly to meet peoples' support needs;
To communicate effectively and professionally with all persons in the Service User's life;
To work as part of a team;
To work effectively and professionally within the policies, procedures, aims, objectives and philosophy of the company with our colleagues;

Requirements

Experience of the people in our care who have mental health concerns, learning difficulties and challenging behaviours;
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care preferred but not essential as full training will be provided;
Candidates must have the right to work within the EU.
Due to our location it would be beneficial if you could drive and have access to transport.
