Team Leader/ Co-Ordinator)

Dursley

We have an exciting new opportunity within a developing service, supporting an extremely diverse group of individuals within a residential care home.

Whether it is supporting individuals with mental health diagnoses, learning disabilities, dementia, acquired brain injury or physical disabilities, we are on a mission to provide the best standards of care and support and to make these individuals lives as enjoyable and fulfilling as possible. Also, all of the individuals we support demonstrate some level of challenging behaviour along with their
other support needs.

So, we are looking for enthusiastic, confident, and caring individuals to join our growing team of incredibly committed staff.

Your role as a coordinator would be to supervise and coordinate our team of compassionate support workers and support the management team to enable the smooth and efficient running of the home. You will require an NVQ 3 or equivalent as a minimum, with some supervisory experience in supporting staff. At least 2 years’ experience of supporting people and working in the care sector and have a clear understanding of mental health and its management.

There is huge opportunity for individual development for you here. For example, any relevant training related to the needs of our residents, NVQ Levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 and progression into more senior roles. This is all supported by a highly experienced and knowledgeable management team, all bringing their
own individual experiences from various health and social care related environments.
