Job Description
The Head of Quality is responsible for leading the quality assurance overseeing the Field Care Supervisors across our domiciliary care service. The role ensures services are delivered in line with regulatory standards, internal policies, and best practice. The postholder will oversee Care Plan & Risk Assessment quality, audits and oversee Service User compliance within CQC requirements, support service improvement initiatives, and embed a culture of continuous quality enhancement. They will also provide cover when a Field Care Supervisor is not present in our branches in Brislington, Cheltenham and Cinderford.

What you will be doing
• Develop and implement Bramble Homecare’s quality assurance framework and strategy in respect of Care Planning and Risk Assessments
• Ensure ongoing compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards and support in preparing the service for inspections
• Lead internal audits, spot checks, and quality monitoring visits in the work that the Field Care Supervisor completes
• Review care documentation, including care plans and risk assessments, for quality and accuracy
• Maintain an effective system for tracking compliance, quality metrics

What we need from you
• You must have a valid driving licence and own vehicle
• Genuine passion for helping others and wanting to make a positive difference
• Flexible approach to your working hours
• Proven experience in a senior quality or compliance role within domiciliary or health and social care
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and the Health and Social Care Act
• Ability to support audits, interpret data, and drive quality improvements
• Relevant qualifications in health and social care, management, or quality assurance
