About the Role

  • Carry out a wide range of seasonal grounds tasks, including mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, irrigation and repair work.
  • Play a key role in preparing and maintaining our equestrian facilities, especially the cross-country course.
  • Support the set-up and smooth delivery of major equestrian events, from jump decoration to spectator areas.
  • Operate and maintain tractors, mowers and other machinery safely and effectively.
  • Work as part of the Grounds and Sports Turf Team to keep our campus safe, attractive, and competition-ready all year round.

About You

  • A passion for practical outdoor work and pride in achieving high standards.
  • Adaptability and good organisation to meet seasonal demands and event deadlines.
  • The ability to work well in a team and independently, using your own initiative.
  • Physical fitness and resilience to carry out manual work in all weather conditions.
  • Previous experience in grounds care (essential).
  • A full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Certificates for machinery such as telehandlers, mini diggers or chainsaws.
  • An understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
