School Premises/Site Assistant (part-time)

Winchcombe

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable person to join our friendly premises team at Winchcombe School (part of the Balcarras Trust). You’ll be proactive and able to assist the Premises Manager in carrying out minor repairs and maintenance around the school site, cleaning where necessary and helping with the after-school hire operation of the Sports Centre on site.

The job will be year-round, unless term-time only is requested. There will be options for additional hours. Any required training will be provided.

Working hours: 15 hours per week – ideally working 3 days per week 2pm-7pm but we can be flexible. An all-year round position but we could offer term-time only if preferred.

Salary: NJC Scale Grade 4 (points 7-10) Approx. £9,849 p.a. gross pro rata or approx. £12.59 per hour plus holiday entitlement (based on £24,294 full time starting salary) with the opportunity to join the LGPS (Local Government Pension Scheme).

The appointment is subject to satisfactory references and enhanced DBS clearance.
