Job description
National Star is looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Catering Assistant to join our team providing a full catering service to residents based in Pittville in the centre of Cheltenham.
You will work term time only, 25 hours a week over 40 weeks, Monday – Friday with flexible working hours bewteen 9 am – 4 pm. You may be asked to work additional hours or different shifts according to the needs of our students.
Working as an important part of the team, you will perform various duties including some food preparation, serving food, keeping the equipment and work areas clean, assisting the chef with the smooth running of the area, cash handling.
Previous experience is required for this role and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable.

The interview process will in two stages, held at our Pittville site and consist of an interview with panel and if successful a second interview will be practical time in the kitchen. You can expect to be with us for up to 3hrs for the second interview.
