St Christopher's Playgroup - Early Years Practitioner - 13310608

Early Years Practitioner, Permanent, Part Time, 20 hours per week, Term Time only, Monday – Friday 9am - 3pm. Start Date: April 2024 (or before subject to checks and availability)

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated professional to join our team as an Early Years Practitioner. This position requires a passionate individual who is committed to providing exceptional care and support to children in an early years setting.

Brief description of duties and responsibilities include ensuring that children are properly cared for and supervised; including feeding, self-care and changing nappies. Supporting children’s play and relationships, preparing meals and snacks, involving the children as much as possible. Ensure fruit and vegetables are purchased for snacks on a rota basis. Implement the principles of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). Support children's independence and development. Monitor, track and record children's development and provide core feedback to parents in person and through tapestry, in conjunction with the manager, and carry out parent consultations events as required. To contribute to managing inventory, ordering materials resources and consumables. Keep the nursery clean, tidy and organised. Contribute to planning if necessary. Attending Friday morning review meeting and regular staff meetings. Working to promote safeguarding, equality and diversity and values in the setting. Administering First Aid and medication if qualified and filling in accident forms. Reporting Accidents to the management.
