Support Coordinator

Cirencester

Based at The Churn, Cirencester

12 month fixed term contract, with possible extension

The Door is very excited to be offering a brand new role, in collaboration with The Churn in Cirencester, for a Family Support Coordinator topilot a programme offering anew integrated family support service to Cirencester and surrounding villages.The pilot will operate for one year with the possibility of future funding.  This role will focus on supporting families with children in school years 6 to 11.

The Door is a Christian youth charity based in Stroud, established in 1991 for the benefit of all young people aged 11 to 25 and their families. It’s a place where every young person and their parents can feel safe, happy and valued, with the best possible opportunity to reach their potential.

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated professional to lead the development, implementation, promotion and delivery of The Door’s Family Support services within this project.  You’ll build robust working relationships with The Churn to ensure that a seamless service is delivered, and recruit, manage and support the training of family support volunteers.  You’ll also have your own caseload, and be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the project’s impact.

You’ll have the ability to build strong working relationships, use your own initiative and have strong stakeholder management and administrative skills, as well as your own transport.Experience of supporting parents, carers and families and an understanding of local statutory servicesisalso highly desirable.

Salary: £15.11 – 16.60 per hour

Hours Per Week: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week
