Early Years Childcare Practitioner

Gloucester

We have a vacancy for a fully qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our professional team. We are a small privately owned family Nursery caring for children between the ages of 3mths to 4 years old.

Our ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible, enthusiastic, caring and a team player. We welcome applications from candidates seeking either full time (8.00 – 6:00, Monday to Friday) or candidates seeking 2, 3 or 4 days a week.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Contributing to a planned programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in conjunction with other staff.

2. keeping an accurate record of achievement file on key children.

3. Work alongside parents / carers of special needs children to provide full integration in the Nursery.

4. Ensuring the Nursery meets the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds, and stages of development.

5. Actively promoting and supporting the safeguarding of children and young people in the workplace.

6. Effectively delivering the EYFS, ensuring that the individual needs and interests of the children in the Nursery are met (in conjunction with other team members).
