Playhouse Day Nursery - Qualified Nursery Practitioner - 13493864

Up Hatherley, Cheltenham, GL51 6HT

We are looking for a qualified nursery practitioner with at least a Level 3 qualification to join our friendly team as a room leader in our warm and welcoming ‘Baby and Toddler’s’ room. Full Time Position. Hours: 40 hours per week over 4 and a half days. Salary: Will be discussed at interview.

We are looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, motivated, organised and with a good knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate record keeping for your key children group, completing observations, planning and assessments, preparing and carrying out activities to challenge and support the children’s learning and development as well as preparing snacks and meals. You will update and support parents/carers regarding their child’s development. Attending and contributing to regular team meetings.

Appropriate First Aid, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding training will be arranged if the successful applicant does not hold a valid certificate already.
