Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

* Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
* Salary Package: up to £52,000 Bonus £2k minimum realistic and overtime
* Job Type: Permanent
* Electrical or mechanical bias; must be dual-skilled
* Location: Stroud area
* Recruitment drive due to site automation, expansion
* Working pattern: 4 ON 4 OFF
* Contract Type: Permanent
* Are you a multi-skilled maintenance engineer? With electrical qualifications?
The shift pattern will help you transition from one area to the next (time off between shifts) in this newly created role
You will be joining a Global manufacturing leader with a huge number of sites, so career development, progression, challenges, reward and development are all ahead of you.
The manufacturing factory site you will be joining is world-class, huge with hundreds of employees, and you will be maintaining assets that produce global market-leading consumer products that people buy every second of every day.
Key Responsibilities - Multi-Skilled Engineer
To service, adjust and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools safely
To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements
Carry out planned and preventive maintenance according to agreed schedules
Share good ideas to form mini projects to improve the plant performance, including machinery modifications
Qualifications & Requirements - Multi-Skilled Engineer
* Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, maintenance, or similar manufacturing
* HND or HNC diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
* Or the equivalent of any of the above in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with a manufacturing background
* FMCG, Manufacturing and chemicals are most welcome, as well as the armed forces and related engineering
