Your Voice Coordinator

Gloucester

We are looking for a Your Voice Coordinator to join our friendly and inclusive team!

Summary of the role

Your Voice is an NHS funded project that brings together a network of self-advocacy organisations across the South West (https://www.yourvoicenetwork.org/). The network aims to make sure that people with a learning disability and autistic people (Experts by Experience) have a voice when it comes to planning and delivering health services. We have set up a network of self-advocacy groups across the South West, bringing together people from different groups to have a really strong voice on health issues and other important matters. The team comprises of one Coordinator, three Experts by Experience with a learning disability or autism and one Marketing Coordinator.

Job Purpose: To coordinate the Your Voice project and work with the team to continue to build and develop a strong self-advocacy network across the South West of England. This will include managing  three staff members with lived experience of learning disability or autism and working with NHS England and Improvement to feedback key themes and to recommend and promote change.

Hours and pay:

Hours: 16 per week

Contract: Fixed term until 31 st March 2025.

Pension: IG operates the NEST pension scheme and will contribute 3% subject to qualifying status

Salary: £27,514 FTE, £14.11 per hour

Locations: Railway House, Bruton Way, GL1 1DG with scope for some home working

Holiday: 28 days + bank holidays pro rata
