Youth Support Worker - Youth Voice and Participation

Gloucester

Are you a passionate believer in the power of young people in shaping our future? Could you help
young people’s voices be heard loud and clear in the Podsmead? We are investing in an exciting new
role to coordinate and deliver participation and group work sessions through the direct delivery of a
Podsmead Youth Forum.

Hours - As a Youth Support Worker, you must commit to working the following:

Part time – pro rata - 16 hrs per week, including three evenings per week – Monday 4-7pm, Tues
5.30 – 8.30pm, and Thurs 5-8pm - plus 6 hours per week to undertake CPD and administration tasks
relevant to the role (hours flexible to needs of business). Occasional weekends to assist with youth
led events.

Who we are looking for:

Ideal but not essential, you’ll also have:

A Level 2 or higher youth work qualification is ideal but not essential, as full training will be made
available in line with our funder requirements.
