About the Role
- Provide expert advice and guidance to support the effective use of digital learning technologies to enhance teaching, learning, and assessment across the organisation
- Support the development, maintenance, and administration of key eLearning platforms, including Moodle and other digital learning tools
- Work collaboratively with academic colleagues and wider teams to promote and embed best practice in digital learning across both Further and Higher Education
- Deliver training sessions, workshops, and one-to-one support to staff, enabling them to make effective use of digital technologies, including areas such as AI and accessibility
- Contribute to the design and development of high-quality eLearning materials and resources, using a range of digital tools and platforms
- Provide timely and effective technical support to staff and students, ensuring a high level of customer service
- Keep up to date with emerging trends and developments in digital learning technologies, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation
About You
- You will have experience of working within the education sector, with a good understanding of the context of Further and/or Higher Education
- You will have experience of administering Moodle, including user management, course creation, and cohort setup
- You will be confident in designing and developing engaging eLearning content, using a range of digital technologies and authoring tools
- You will have experience using platforms such as Microsoft 365, Teams, and other digital learning technologies, and be able to support others in their use
- You will be proactive in keeping up to date with emerging trends and developments in digital learning, demonstrating a willingness to continuously improve practice
- You will have strong organisational skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to support staff and students effectively
- You will have an understanding of safeguarding and its importance within an education environment
