Work Placement Tutor£9,524 - £9,869, based on an FTE of £23,810 - £24,673 per annum (depending on qualifications & experience)

About the Role
- To work closely with the academic department and ICE (Innovation, Careers and Enterprise) teams to ensure that work placements are coordinated, approved and completed by college students.
- Carry out pre-placement health and safety visits for the Agriculture and Animal industry and progress reviews of students whilst on placement.
- Develop and maintain relationships and systems that support the College work placement process, being mindful of current legislation and best practice.
About You
- Hold general qualifications at Level 3 or above, along with an IT qualification at Level 3 or higher
- Have a sound understanding of the industry or sector relevant to the placements
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with experience using them in a professional setting
- Strong office administration skills, with the ability to plan, organise, and manage tasks effectively
- Able to prioritise workload and manage project work to meet deadlines
- Aware of Safeguarding practices and their importance within a college or educational environment
