Job Description Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience Renishaw Neuro Solutions Ltd. are looking for a product engineer to manage the manufacturing of our neurosurgery product range, control design changes for products throughout their lifecycles & support the implementation of production & business process improvements. As a product engineer, you will be working closely with multi-discipline functions to maintain & develop medical devices that need to be both safe and effective. You will be required to oversee & support the manufacturing processes to ensure that our products meet medical standards., Responsibilities Overseeing production and ensuring that products conform to market specifications and safety regulations. Point of contact with sub-contract manufacturing processes. Determining product change feasibility costs and return on investments. Monitor & maintain production process & equipment Own product improvements & procedural updates. Create & maintain design & process risk assessments. Failure analysis, including root cause, corrective & preventative actions. Owning technical changes to implement process improvements and regulatory updates. Key requirements A degree in Engineering or relevant experience in a similar field. Strong analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving skills Experience in root cause analysis & corrective actions. Good time/project management skills. Ability to work independently & collaboratively in a team environment Effective communicator and influencer Good report writing skills Desirable requirements Knowledge of the medical device industry & processes. Working Knowledge of ISO13485 Previous experience working in as a Production/Product Engineer.
