Junior Management Accountant - 227

Hardwicke, Gloucester

Role: Junior Management Accountant
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 17:00pm
Salary: Up to £30,000 – Depending on experience
Location: Hardwicke, GL2 4PH - Office Based

We have a new opportunity for a Junior Management Accountant to join us within Robin Elt which is the retail side of the Gardiner Bros group.

What qualities are we seeking in our Junior Management Accountant?

We are looking for a driven and organised individual who is able to prioritise their workload and be prepared to work in a varied role supporting the retail side within our Group. You will need to have strong administration skills and comfortable working with financial information and data.

This role would be suited to someone who is confident in managing accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and working in Microsoft excel (Look ups, pivot table and other formulas) Ideally you have an AAT qualification and experience working within a similar role.

What will the Junior Management Accountant role entail?

The Junior Management Accountant will be responsible for working collaboratively with Robin Elt Retail and Head Office to ensure that all books, records and associated administrative records accurate and up to date.

Monthly reconciliations of all accounts.
Nominal ledger payments (monthly and ad hoc).
Monthly nominal ledger review to check accuracy of postings and balances.
General accounts administration for recording of invoices, posting of journals, reconciliation of nominal ledgers on a timely basis.
Maintain banking records.
Compiling of monthly credit card return forms.
Preparation of Management Accounts on a monthly basis inclusive of the Inter Branch Transfer reconciliation (IBT).
Distribution of month end reports to relevant departments.
Administration and coordination of tasks related to stores and webstore.
Send paying in books to stores as required.
Monitor and order web consumables.
Work with our Robin Elt office to support financial aspects of write offs for stock where necessary.

In addition, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

Strong communication skills.
Proficiency in verbal and written English.
Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
Team player mentality and collaborative spirit.
Ability to work accurately and strong attention to detail.
Someone with a valid driving licence that is able to visit Robin Elt stores as and when required.
