Description 

Our ambition for Gloucestershire Constabulary is to be an outstanding police force for all our residents and communities.

We are looking for a talented and committed individual with excellent leadership qualities and financial skills to join our Finance Business Partner Team. This role is integral to our mission to keep communities safe through maximising the value of every public pound.

As one of two Finance Business Partner roles in the team, you will lead a team of Finance Officers who provide finance support including annual budget setting and ongoing budget monitoring. You will specialise in some of our most complex areas such as regional and national collaborations, capital projects or salary budgets modelling.

You will report to the Senior Finance & Commercial Business Partner and you will build close working partnerships with senior officers and managers in the Constabulary. You will work collaboratively with the wider Finance Business Partner Team to promote and share business partnering ideas, learnings, experiences and best practice. You will provide financial input into strategic, tactical and operational business cases to aid decision making processes within the Constabulary.

We are looking for individuals who are highly skilled in understanding and presenting numerical and qualitative data, and who can demonstrate an exceptional level of Excel and financial analysis skills.
