Graduate Teaching Assistant - 1116223
Chepstow, Monmouthshire
<p>Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant for our School, starting in September 2025 or January 2026. This is a fixed-term contract, for 12 months and working during term time. We are looking for a post-graduate student, who would like to start their career in teaching. Other roles and responsibilities are to include:</p><ul> <li>Boarding House duties during the week, evenings and weekends</li> <li>Classroom Assistance in both Pre-Prep and Prep.</li> <li>Full participation in the co-curricular programme at the school</li> <li>Coaching and running teams as appropriate</li> <li>Running or assisting with after school clubs and extra-curricular activities as appropriate </li> <li>Team teaching and assisting experienced subject teachers in classroom situations in a variety of subject areas</li></ul><p>Accommodation and food during term time only are provided without charge. The post requires a full commitment during term time. </p><p>Early applications are encouraged, and applicants may be invited to interview prior to the closing date.
