We are looking for a Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy Lecturer to join our team at our
Filton campus from 1st September 2025.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in hairdressing and beauty therapy.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Develop and update course materials to reflect current industry standards.
- Support students in achieving their qualifications and career goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Hairdressing.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Beauty Therapy.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the students and the college.
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed).
- Assessors Award (e.g., TAQA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
