Teacher of Hair & Beauty - HB1

Gloucester

Bridge Training Ltd is looking for a Teacher of Hair and Beauty to join our supportive, student-focused team. This is your chance to contribute to a small, dedicated alternative education provider that truly changes the lives of young people aged 14–19.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Hairdressing Teacher to join our vocational training team. This role involves delivering engaging, industry-relevant teaching to students pursuing hairdressing qualifications (Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2). The successful candidate will inspire and support learners to achieve their full potential and develop their professional skills.

The Hairdressing Teacher will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons across the Hairdressing curriculum. They will support learners in developing both practical and theoretical skills aligned to industry standards, while creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The teacher will ensure learners are motivated, progress effectively, and are well-prepared for assessments and employment. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records, adhering to safeguarding practices, and contributing to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement.

The post holder will also undertake such other duties as may reasonably be required at the initial agreed place of work and other locations. In time the job may change and in consultation with the post holder, the job description will be revised and issued, as necessary. Benefits and Rewards

Salary: TBD - Dependant on skills, experience and qualifications

Hours Per Week: 18.75 - Flexibility is required to provide additional cover when necessary.
