About the role:
We are looking for a dynamic and skilled leader to join our school to lead the strategic development of our KS4 vocational curriculum pathways. This role will include leadership of This role will include the leadership of Art & Design, Hospitality & Catering, Sport and other vocational offers such as Hair and Beauty. You will play a key role in delivering a core aspect of our whole school curriculum intent to broaden students’ curiosity, strengths and resilience, empowering them with the knowledge and skills to lead productive, healthy and safe futures. The postholder will also be required to teach a maximum of 50% of a normal timetable.

The school has 7 centres based across Cheltenham, Gloucester and Stroud. It is anticipated that the successful postholder will be based at a KS4 centre in Gloucester.

The Altus School is a local authority maintained alternative provision school, working with students from Year 1 through to Y11 who predominantly join us after a permanent exclusion from a mainstream setting.
