The Governors are looking to appoint an inspirational, motivated and passionate Deputy Head Teacher to join an enthusiastic and highly supportive team. You will become part of our caring school and local community where the aspirations of all our children are at the forefront and where a shared vision, that all children flourish, is key. A driven Deputy Headteacher is sought to further our already established success.
The successful candidate will work alongside our Head Teacher, to provide support for the vision of the school, our strategic direction and leadership in order to build on our many strengths and to support and lead our school in the future. The role is ideal for someone with experience leading school development, change or innovations, and who is looking for their first Deputy Head post, or equally, for a Deputy with experience.
The successful candidate will be a strong and dynamic leader who:
•Is an excellent and reflective classroom practitioner who fosters children’s enjoyment of learning whilst ensuring high levels of achievement
•Is committed to the values and ethos of a Church of England Primary School, being respectful of the inclusive Christian ethos of our school
•Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to inspire a professional team, children, governors, parents and the wider community
•Is resilient and flexible, demonstrating good judgement and empathy in decision making
•Has experience of successfully implementing whole school change to raise standards
•Is highly competent in interpreting and using data to ensure and raise standards
•Puts safeguarding and child protection at the centre of their practice
•Will challenge and empower staff to be the best they can be
•Is able to create meaningful links and partnerships within the local community, church, and county being an ambassador for the school
•Has imagination and flair to further develop our well-established, knowledge- based, thematic curriculum. With the ability to lead subject development across the school, making a difference to pupil outcomes.

The salary for this post will start on Leadership spine 4 with the range being Leadership 4-8.
