The governors of Archway School are looking to appoint a passionate and inspirational leader who will share our vision and ambition for Archway and its community continuing to focus on opportunities for improving outcomes for all students. Archway is a maintained, co-educational comprehensive school of around 1000 students aged between 11 and 18 years old. The school is in Stroud, a lively market town, nestled among the hills of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Application should be made using the GCC Headteacher application form and accompanied by a letter of application (maximum 2 sides of A4) which should be submitted to governorsvs@gloucestershire.gov.uk by midnight on 11th May 2025. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

Interviews will take place on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd May 2025.
