Experienced Urgent Care Paramedic

Urgent Care Paramedic
The Royal Well Surgery presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Urgent Care Paramedic to work alongside the practice Urgent Care Team (we call it the Hot Team).
The ‘Hot Team’ operates within the surgery from 8.30 am to 6.30 pm Monday to Friday, providing Telephone Triage and Treatment, Face2Face Appointments and urgent care advice to all patients requiring same day care. The Multi-disciplinary Team presently consists of Paramedic, Advanced Clinical Practitioner, GP’s, and GP Registrars. More specifically, our Urgent Care Paramedic will be primarily responsible for triage a support, treatment, and diagnosis of patients with same-day queries. There may be also the opportunity to carry out home visits.
We are offering a permanent position on a part-time basis. You'll have the chance to experience continuity of care and see cases develop from initial triage through to resolution with the support of the other Urgent Care Practitioners across the practice. You will be able to share information, learn and grow in your confidence and ability.
The post is open to both Registered Experienced Paramedics and Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
