We are seeking a dedicated Night Porter to join our team at Ellenborough Park Hotel. This role is vital in ensuring our guests receive the highest level of hospitality, reflecting our commitment to excellence and personalized service.

You will play an important part of the guest experience during the overnight operation of our hotel. Whether you are assisting guests with luggage, preparing refreshments, carrying out security checks or supporting the Front Office team, you will play a key role in creating a warm and memorable guest experience.

Key Tasks

Providing a warm and professional welcome to guests during the night and assisting with arrivals and departures as required

• Providing a professional porterage service
• Carrying out regular security checks throughout the hotel
• Supporting the Night Manager and Reception team overnight
• Assisting guests with local information and transport arrangements
• Preparing refreshments and responding to guest requests
• Assisting the breakfast team with early set up
• Ensuring public areas remain clean, tidy and well presented
• Handling left luggage procedures securely and efficiently
• Reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly
• Helping maintain a safe, calm and welcoming environment for guests and colleagues

We are looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable and professional
• Reliable and able to work confidently during night shifts
• Passionate about customer service
• Great time management
• Calm under pressure with good attention to detail
• Flexible and willing to support different areas of the hotel operation
• Well presented with a positive attitude

Previous hotel or customer service experience is beneficial, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.
