Early Years Housekeeper

<p>Little Trees Tewkesbury Day Nursery offers a caring and welcoming environment, with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating space for every child.</p><p>We are looking for a reliable and conscientious Housekeeper to join our friendly team and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our setting.</p><p>As our Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in keeping the nursery environment clean, safe and well-presented for children, staff, and visitors.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul> <li>Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery</li> <li>Clean play areas, toilets, kitchen and staff areas daily</li> <li>Follow cleaning schedules and health &amp; safety procedures</li> <li>Support infection control and hygiene routines in line with nursery policies</li> <li>Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and stored safely</li> <li>Carry out laundry duties (e.g. bedding)</li> <li>Dispose of waste appropriately and safely</li> <li>Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly</li></ul><p><strong>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</strong></p><ul> <li>Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience (desirable but not essential)</li> <li>Knowledge of hygiene standards and cleaning processes</li> <li>Reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking</li> <li>Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li> <li>Understanding of safeguarding and commitment to child safety</li></ul><p>Dean Close Nurseries Limited are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.<br />All positions will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.</p>
