One of those titles that does what it says on the tin.

This is a new role, pivotal to the ongoing development and expansion of the business, where the pace of change is increasing and with it the need to shift the agenda around Identifying, Developing and Relocating skills within and across the Group in a more agile way.

Developing and Nurturing Talent is at the heart of what has made the business successful to date.

Job profiling and role architecture are needed to provide a solid foundation, the 'steel beams around which the 'house' can be built.

Working then with your L&D colleagues to develop individuals, to ensure their careers are progressed and grown in line with opportunities for succession planning that the business required.

More Broadly:

Design and implement the Talent and Careers strategy to identify, develop, and mobilise talent.
Manage and develop the Talent & Careers coordinator, enhancing their capability and influence.
Drive a culture of development and career conversations, empowering individuals and their line managers.
Develop and maintain talent assessment and succession planning frameworks.
Act as a liaison to senior leaders to identify and resolve talent shortages and succession gaps.
Provide solutions to career development issues and collaborate with Learning & Development to close capability gaps.
Utilise data and analytics to monitor talent metrics and inform strategic decision-making.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and alignment with industry best practices.

This role will own both the strategy and delivery of all things career development related in the business. You will work alongside a fantastic team within the broader Talent, ED&I, Performance and Reward functions.

Salary: £67,000 to £70,000 Annual + strong bens and bonus
