Job Description Salary: Up to £60,000 pro rata depending on experience Location: Wotton-under-Edge, Glouc. GL12 8JR Hybrid work 3days/week onsite This is a new opportunity for a passionate experienced Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I) professional to join an ever-changing global organisation with a real appetite for change and drive to bring the business forward from an ED&I perspective. As the ED&I Lead at Renishaw, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider People Strategy team (Human Resources, Corporate Responsibility and Group Communications), to achieve our business vision. You’ll lead and guide the strategic development, implementation and monitoring of Renishaw’s ED&I programmes and help embed the strategy across our functions and sites. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the development of the ED&I strategy, bringing stakeholders at all levels of the business along on the journey. Act as a subject matter expert for the business on all matters relating to ED&I. Reporting to the Executive Committee and Board with updates on progress towards targets and other strategic activity. Develop our global ED&I approach, working with HR across our overseas subsidiaries (APAC, Americas, EMEA) to create tailored, local activity to embed our ED&I strategy. Advise and guide the business on ED&I best practice within wider engagement activity like colleague engagement surveys, recruitment, internal communications and training programmes. Support compliance with equality legislation and governance as well as managing the Gender Pay Gap Report process and submission in line with government guidelines. Engage relevant stakeholders to embed an ED&I culture within Renishaw. Manage the ED&I cultural calendar, harnessing and coaching colleague networks and passionate volunteers to deliver events and activities in both office and manufacturing environments. Manage external partnerships and network relationships (e.g. Employer’s Network for Equality and Inclusion, universities, organisations like Genius Within and Empowered Employers). Support and enable employee resource groups, providing oversight and guidance. Requirements Extensive experience in a similar role within a global organisation, with deep insights and practical exposure to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion concepts, issues, and best practices. Highly adaptable and dynamic approach, capable of transitioning seamlessly from strategic thinking and project planning to hands-on implementation of initiatives across various business areas. Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and foster strong working relationships at all levels of the organisation. Proficient in reviewing data and leveraging insights to inform and shape effective interventions and strategic direction. Strong project management capabilities, including excellent organisational and time management skills, enabling the efficient handling of multiple projects simultaneously. Passionate and credible advocate for ED&I, with the ability to influence, communicate, and educate others effectively. In-depth awareness of cultural change and change management, with a track record of maturing and advancing the strategic approach to ED&I and organisational culture. Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to plan, design, and manage own work independently.
