Description 
Gloucestershire Constabulary are recruiting an ICT Network Service Manager who is proficient or has good understanding and hands-on experience of:

To manage the incidents assigned to the Network Team within the agreed response and resolution timescales.
To support the Network Engineers in their day to day role, encouraging excellent customer service and building a team ethos.
To manage the personal development of Network Engineers carrying out regular 1-1s and annual appraisals in line with coaching to improve performance.
To review and plan changes and service requests assigned to the team with the ICT Technical Infrastructure Manager.
To assist the ICT Technical Infrastructure Manager with capacity management and disaster recovery planning. 
High level of technical involvement in the review and planning of service improvement and new technological projects.
Escalation of major incidents and any risks impacting our services to the ICT Technical Infrastructure Manager in line with policy.
To engage with the change process ensuring incidents created by a change are fed back to the Change Manager for documentation
Responsible for ensuring all Networking procedures are created, available and reviewed on an annual basis.
To have an excellent technical understanding of organisationally used network estate, in order to support the team and liaise with both in-house and 3rd party support technicians
The role requires the need to be on call one week in four, including weekends and bank holidays, the on call covers both the voice and date elements of the service.

The successful candidate for this role will be vetted at level Staff MV+SC. This means the individual will need at least 5 years worth of residency in the UK.
