Agricultural Service Technician - MH/20

Cheltenham

Located near Gloucester and Cheltenham, Severn Agriculture Ltd specialises in the sale, repair, parts and testing of specialised agricultural machinery.

We are seeking a self motivated, dedicated service technician to join our small team. Working alone and as part of a team you will be providing service and support to our customers and their machinery. 
The role is field based, both on site and at our workshop facilities.

Tasks include, but not limited to;

• Preparing new and second hand machines,
• Routine maintenance,
• Breakdown repairs,
• NSTS annual machine testing,
• Installation of a wide variety of equipment, including GPS and electrical controllers.
• Completing job sheets, parts lists and reporting to manager.

A sound technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems would be an advantage, but product training will be given.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, organised, motivated and have good customer service skills.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 -17:00 with overtime expected at busy times.

A full UK driving licence is required.

A company van and phone will be provided along with competitive pay, (based on experience)
