£30,000 - £45,000 DoE
My client, an international provider of advanced Telecommunications solutions, is seeking two Technical Support Engineers to join their exciting and growing team. Supporting customers via face-to-face, phone and email, they are looking for a positive, hardworking candidate who is willing to keep on top of modern communication technologies.
Requirements
- Knowledge with at least two of the following – PDH/SDH, GPON, Cellular/Wireless and LTE, IP Networks/Infrastructure.
- Familiar with the range of test equipment including optical power meters and light sources, BERTs, cellular scanners and mustimeters.
- Experienced in fault finding methodology.
- Experience with remote management platforms.
- Telecommunications related courses/qualifications.
Additional Attributes Required
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable engaging with both customers and suppliers.
- Ability to work part of a team or autonomously.
- A good worth ethic with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
