This is an extremely exciting opportunity for a modern, forward thinking, professional from the Engineering sector to join our thriving College and be at the forefront of the new T Level qualifications. The College is continuing to implement new T level qualifications as they become available, and this is an unique opportunity for the right candidate to work with us in developing our curriculum.

We are looking for a lecturer to join the STEAM faculty to join our growing team of Engineering lecturers. The T levels are very broad and we would encourage applicants from any area of Engineering, however we are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Mechanical Engineering, including maths and science. We have just opened our brand-new T level building, and we continue to transform our environment with state-of-the-art developments. The building includes three purpose built engineering workshops, including an electronics and materials testing lab, a design and 3D printing lab, and a workshop with CNC capability.

The post holder will be expected to:

• Teach to a high standard, and develop the relevant skills to teach truly outstanding provision
• Work with the STEAM Faculty and with enrichment staff to create provision that excites and stimulates demand

Candidates should have a commitment to providing high quality learning to enable all learners to achieve their full potential. The ability to truly work as a team player is also essential. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills.

Candidates should possess either proven experience in industry or a good honours degree in a related subject (or a combination of both). Ideally you will hold a teaching qualification or be committed to obtain a suitable qualification once in post.
