About the Role
The Chase is a specialist provision for high-needs learners aged 16–24. The curriculum focuses on life skills, independence, and employment.
We are looking for a self-motivated tutor to teach from Pre-entry to Entry Level 3. Subjects include Life Skills, English, Maths, and ideally Catering.
If you are passionate about engaging teaching and experienced with SEND learners, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Life Skills, Employability, Maths, and English
- Conduct initial assessments and agree learner goals
- Support learner progression across the curriculum
- Ensure assessment and documentation meet standards
- Attend required training and maintain professional development
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience working with SEND learners
- Teaching qualification or willingness to complete one (e.g., PGCE)
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/Level 2 or higher)
- Experience with Pre-entry to Entry Level SEND learners
- Relevant CPD or qualifications in learning disabilities
- Experience in FE or schools supporting SEND learners
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office, email, and web tools
