Are you looking to take your career to the next level in the legal field? We are recruiting for a Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy and dynamic team, supporting clients in private and commercial legal matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Law Degree, looking to gain hands-on experience under the guidance of the Head of Conveyancing.
Conveyancing Assistant
Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong and lasting relationships with clients
- Attend client conferences and conduct file reviews and risk assessments
- Proactively communicate with clients, solicitors, estate agents, financial advisors, and HM Land Registry
- Progress transactions efficiently and in line with deadlines
- Ensure effective management of conveyancing files from start to finish
What Were Looking For:
- A Law Degree or equivalent legal qualification
- Previous experience in a fast-paced office environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy when preparing legal documents
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a professional approach
- A team player with a strong sense of discretion and professionalism
- Ability to work under pressure and meet monthly targets
Knowledge & Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal technology (court-filing systems, transcription software, Dictaphone, etc.)
- Knowledge of legal terminology, regulations, and the court system (full training provided)
